I first got to know KaeWen when serving in LEAD2015 event together. We have problem to get photographers volunteer to cover this major 3-days national scale church event. Finally this beautiful young girl stepped out and helped.

 

While the photos that she has taken are generally good, I am more impressed with her using a Canon camera that is on loan to her. If this is not enough, then the history repeating itself in LEAD2016, this time using a loaned Nikon camera from me.

 

She is using her photos to tell the stories of the event even better now, indicating that she has been putting a lot of efforts applying what she has learned from her studies, and active listening to the feedback given while reviewing her photos. To use a camera that is not belongs to her and regardless of the brand and model are not easy. We could put the blame when the pictures are not good, but I could only impress with her photos.

We have further opportunities to work together in another national scale event, the Trinity Annual Conference - Children Ministry Conference 2017. The Trinity Annual Conference (TRAC in short) is the "English-speaking conference" of the Methodist Church in Malaysia.

 

Knowing you have a great partner serving together in a huge event like this is very comforting. I wish KaeWen to have a wonderful time further her studies oversea, and will continue to pray for her.
